I'm always on the lookout for new hiking wear. So, when KÜHL reached out and asked me to review a pair of their new hiking shorts, I couldn't wait to see how they performed on the trail.
I usually hike in leggings or bike-style shorts. I like that they are form fitting and easy to move in. Therefore, I was thrilled with the snug but stretchy fit of the TREKR™SHORT 5.5" length (I'm 5'6" and in a size 8). They are long enough to prevent inner-thigh chaffing but short enough to be chic. The poly/nylon material is lightweight and quick-drying providing cool comfort even on the hottest days.
The TREKR™SHORT has two hidden back pockets with secure snaps perfect for storing keys or cards. Deep front pockets lie flat, and the drawstring on the inner waist band provides the perfect fit.
I love that these shorts perform so well when hiking, but maintain their shape and style so I can go to lunch or run errands post-hike and still look good. Because they are so comfortable and have such a great fit, I'll be wearing these shorts often - both on and off the trial!
